Farm Tour Registrations
Archway Group will be facilitating the following farm tours where you will hear from the farmers themselves about our systems.
Please register your interest to attend below by entering your contact and farm details and select the tour you wish to attend. The farm tour addresses will be emailed to you following submitting your registration (could take a 2-3 days).
Transport between farms is NOT included if attending more than one.
thursday 10 october 11am - warkworth
System 3-4, 400 cows.
Infrastructure installed: Weeping wall with gravity to pond, drystore bunker, triblock silage bunker and floodwash (existing feedpad).
Thursday 21 november 10am – Tirau
System 4.5, 450 cows.
Challenges before WW installation: Labour intensive system and blockages caused by debris.
Infrastructure installed: Weeping Wall with internal sump to pump to pond.
Thursday 21 november 12.30pm – Waharoa
System 1, 380 cows.
Challenges pre October 2017: Limited effluent infrastructure.
Infrastructure installed: Floodwashed covered standoff pad, Weeping Wall with internal sump to pump up to pond , supporting feed storage infrastructure.
Friday 22 november 10am – Mangatawhiri
System 4, 600 cows.
Challenges pre-2015: Low lying wet contour, restricted space, solids from existing feedpad were difficult to deal with, no storage.
Infrastructure installed: Weeping Wall with internal Sump installed April 2015.
Friday 22 november 12.30pm – Rangiriri
System 5, 1100 cows.
Challenges pre-2019: Low lying, wet, all flat farm, boundaries Waikato river.
Infrastructure installed: Covered Standoff Pad to accommodate all animals during 6-8 weeks of wet, floodwashed into Weeping Wall with internal Sump to pump up to pond, supporting feed storage infrastructure.
